Amid the Ongoing Conflict and Chaos, We Get on Our Knees…

The war on Iran continues to rage and there seems to be no clear sign of an end. As it is so, the rest of the world is caught in between, and the countless innocent suffer needlessly. As we continue to face the uncertain, let us go to God in prayer.

Here are some of the ways by which we can do so:

Prayer Point 1

For those who have lost loved ones and all that they have worked hard to build, pray that God will grant them comfort amid all the losses and grief.

Prayer Point 2

For those who have been displaced, please pray that the Lord will provide them shelter and all other daily needs.

Prayer Point 3

For the churches and Christian communities in war-torn areas, that they will continue to be a light and a beacon of hope in these turbulent times.

Prayer Point 4

For world leaders, please pray for humility, openness, and wisdom. Please pray that they will embrace diplomacy, set aside personal and greedy agendas, and seek the common good over self-centered interests.

Prayer Point 5

For peace and stability in the region. We praise God for the two-week ceasefire and the opportunities to negotiate that have opened, even as we know that tensions still exist. While the situation feels so unstable, we trust that God is working behind the scenes and we continue to pray for His intervention during this precarious time. Let us pray not only for this war to end, but also for true peace to happen.

Amid the chaos, we wait in hope for the Lord. He has been faithful and just, and He will continue to be faithful and just.
