Day 1 (Tue)

Dr. Theresa Lua

Theresa Lua is serving as General Secretary of the Asia Theological Association since 2016 and Secretary of Accreditation and Educational Development since 2013. Prior to these roles she served as Associate Secretary of Accreditation and Educational Development for six years and as Dean of the Asia Graduate School of Theology, Philippines for ten years. She has also served as academic dean and faculty of the Alliance Graduate School, formerly Alliance Biblical Seminary for many years. In 2021 she was appointed as Director of the Global Theology department of the World Evangelical Alliance. This role was approved by the ATA Board as part of ATAs ministry to the global body of Christ.

Day 2 (Wed)

Rev. Shinji Ishizaki

President of Kobe Lutheran Theological Seminary (KLTS) in Japan. Before his appointment as president, he served as Academic Dean at KLTS from 2009 to 2021.  He currently serves also as President of the Asia Graduate School of Theology consortium in Japan.

Day 3 (Thu)

Dr. Joseph Shao
Dr. Joseph Shao served as General Secretary of Asia Theological Association from 2007-2016. He was also President of the Biblical Seminary of the Philippines from 1990 until his retirement in 2019. As an Old Testament scholar, he has taught at many seminaries worldwide. He is now serving as Professor at the Global Mission Seminary, an ATA accredited Chinese seminary in California. He has recently been elected as Regional Secretary of the newly formed ATA North America. He and his wife, Dr. Rosa Shao, have written three volumes in the Asia Bible Commentary Series published by Langham and ATA namely: the commentaries on Ezra Nehemiah (2019); Jonah (2019); Joel, Nahum, and Malachi, (2021).

Dr. Prabhu Singh

Principal of South Asia Institute for Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS) in Bangalore, India.

Dr Prabhu Singh serves as the Principal of SAIACS and also as Professor of Anthropology and Missions in the Department of Religion and Intercultural Studies. He has a PhD in Intercultural Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary, USA, with specializations in Cultural Anthropology and Religion. With nearly 30 years of experience in ministry, he is a renowned communicator, speaking in various settings in different parts of the world. His recent publication is: “One Gospel, Many Cultures: Change, Continuity and Christianity in India” in One Gospel, Many Cultures, ed. Arren Bennett Lawrence (Fortress Press, 2022).
